Loco haud indicato, fl. ♂, F. Sellow s.n. (BR 0000008767165, F [0061819F; fragment], G, GZU 000249332); idem, fl., F. Sellow s.n. (HAL 0103829, wrongly mounted with the label of “Oreodaphne glauca Nees ab Es.!” written by Schlechtendal).
Miscellaneous information:
The basionym of this name, Oreodaphne teleiandra Meisn., was based onTeleiandra glauca Nees & Mart. Still it was legitimate, as the name Oreodaphne glauca had already been occupied by another species published by Nees (1833). Mez used the name Ocotea glauca for a combination based on this latter species, so that it is likewise legitimate to call this species Ocotea teleiandra. Rohwer (Mitt. Inst. Allg. Bot. Hamburg 20: 211. 1986) had put Ocotea teleiandra in the synonymy of Ocotea laxa (Nees) Mez, but Baitello & Marcovino (2003) pointed out several differences between them.
