Miscellaneous information:
Based on Mespilodaphne glauca var. virescens Meisn. (nom. illeg.), with explicit exclusion of the cited older name Oreodaphne nutans var. sylvestris Nees, and thus of the type of that name. Therefore, it may be treated as newly described by Mez. In M and NY there is a specimen labelled "Blanchet 3250 = 3250b".
